The Flush Reducer is used when your hardwood flooring meets other floor coverings, such as vinyl, thin ceramic tile, or low-pile carpeting. If your new hardwood flooring is meeting with high pile carpet or thick ceramic, use the Threshold trim piece. It is recommended that the Flush Reducer be nailed or glued down.
