Special Edition FSC-Certified Springdale Northern White Oak Plank from Bruce. Manufactured in our Somerset, Kentucky plant, this product is made with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified veneers which qualify it for the 80% Mixed Use designation under the FSC classification system. The hand-selected northern white oak face veneers were chosen to provide a more refined and consistent light white oak natural visual with a limited range of color variation throughout the floor. Unlike many inexpensive engineered hardwood floors that use extremely thin face veneers or HDF or fiberboard core materials, Springdale is made of 3 layers of 1/8 in. thick solid oak, providing an exceptionally stable structure and a thick face layer for decades of durability. Finished with our multi-step, factory-applied aluminum oxide urethane finish which is highly resistant to wear. As with all engineered hardwood floors made by Bruce, this product is CARB II Certified.
